A popular charity furniture store in Crewe has moved into a spacious new town centre location this week (September 5).
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) furniture store closed in the Victoria Centre on Friday 23 August.
At 9.30am on Thursday 5 September, BHF opened in new space in The Market Shopping Centre, replacing the town's old Argos site.
With a bigger warehouse for furniture and home items, as well as more space for customer parking, the BHF hopes the new store will show customers the delights of second hand and encourage Crewe residents to pop by and shop with them.
The new 4,500 square metre store stocks furniture, electricals and homewares, including sofas, tables, beds, wardrobes and televisions.
BHF regional director, Richard Roe, told Nub News: "We have had so much support in Crewe since we opened our store in the Victoria Centre in 2009 and we couldn't be more grateful.
"It has been an incredible 15 years, and the team are excited for the next adventure in our new store.
"Luckily, we are not moving far, so our amazing team, including more than 50 volunteers, will be coming with us to the new store.
"We are so grateful for all the customer support, and we hope it continues. We are always in need of more helping hands and donations, so please do get in touch if you have anything to spare.
"We are looking to make some more exciting changes to some of our other BHF shops in Crewe very soon, so please do keep an eye out."
