Crewe's only bubble tea shop is set to relocate to a new "larger" unit in the town centre, offering a karaoke booth, Hong Kong-style bubble waffles and more.

Operated by local resident, Jayne Li, Kawaii Boba Tea has been a success in Crewe since launching in August 2023.

In its bigger unit, Kawaii Boba Tea will offer customers a new karaoke booth experience, Hong Hong-style bubble and lollipop waffles, an extended range of its Asian groceries and more (Ryan Parker).

Kawaii Boba Tea serves freshly-made bubble teas, fruit teas, croffles, taiyaki waffles, boba sundaes, ice cream and Asian groceries.

Now, after trading inside Hong's for over 18 months, Kawaii Boba Tea will venture into a unit of its own.

The Earle Street business will close its current store after the Easter bank holiday and reopen next door a short time later.

Jayne told Nub News: "I am very excited to be moving to my new premises.

"With the larger shop we can now offer more to our customers, including authentic Hong Kong-style bubble waffles and lollipop waffles, which all come with a choice of delicious flavours.

"We will also be extending our Asian mart section offering more snacks, ramens, frozen dumplings and more.

"If you want to have a quick snack, we can now prepare your cup ramens to enjoy on the premises and why not add some extra kimchi or cheese topping, very much like those viral Japanese/Korean convenience stores.

"In addition to our popular Boba teas, you can now experience the viral Korean Ice cup drinks, which are delicious and refreshing.

"And finally, we are one of the first in the area to install a karaoke booth. Pay for a quick song or two and sing to your heart's content."

Kawaii Boba Tea is currently open 12pm to 8.30pm (Monday to Saturday) and 12pm to 5pm (Sunday).
