Police uncover cannabis farm in Crewe drugs raid

Cheshire Police has uncovered 78 cannabis plants, following a drugs raid in Crewe South.

Around 8.50am on Thursday 20 February, Crewe Beat Team carried out a drugs warrant at an address on Ruskin Road.

Entering the property, officers found part of the address had been converted into a cannabis farm, with the electricity bypassed.

Follow a search of the address, they recovered around 78 cannabis plants, as well as growing equipment, before then securing the property.

Cheshire Police removed 78 plants, believed to be cannabis, as well as growing equipment before securing the property (Nub News).

No arrests were made. Police carried out the Crewe drugs raid following information provided by the public.
