Police seize 'large' machete and class A in Crewe drugs raid

Cheshire Police seized a "large" machete and class A drugs in a Crewe house raid this week, following information provided by the public.
On Wednesday 12 March, officers carried out a warrant at an address on Wistaston Road.
At 9.30am, police entered the Crewe West property to discover a large quantity of class A drugs, believed to be cocaine.
They also uncovered a large machete, with everything unlawful now seized.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Crewe Beat Team carried out a drugs warrant on the morning of Wednesday 12 March) at an address on Wistaston Road.
"Officers recovered a large machete and a quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine.
"A woman was dealt with by means of a community resolution.
"Anyone who thinks illegal drug activity is taking place in their community can contact Cheshire Police via the website or by calling 101.
"We hope this reassures you that we do listen, and we do act on information given to us by the public."
