Police search Crewe housing estate following reports of a man being threatened with a knife

Police in Crewe were called to a housing estate following reports that a man had been threatened with a knife.

A police spokesperson said: "At 10.43am on Friday 21 August police received a report of a man being threatened by an unknown man with a knife in Underwood Lane, Crewe."

When officers attended the scene they conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the unknown man.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 785802, or give the details via the [L]https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report[L+] police website[L].
