Police rush to scene after car collides with 'telegraph pole' in Crewe

Cheshire Police officers rushed to the scene of an incident, after car collided a with a "telegraph pole" on the outskirts of Crewe.

On Friday 18 August, police received reports of a collision on Stock Lane, Shavington.

At around 7:40am, officers arrived at the scene, finding a car had collided with a telegraph pole.

A car collided with a telegraph pole on Stock Lane, Shavington, with no injuries reported (Jeff Telford).

Police blocked off the road, while dealing with the incident.

No one was injured in the incident and no arrests were made, despite severe damage to the vehicle.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7.40am on 18 August police were called to a collision on Stocks Lane, Shavington. 

"The incident involved a car which had collided with a telegraph pole. 

No one was injured in the incident and no arrests were made, despite severe damage to the vehicle (Cheshire Police).

"There were no injuries and no arrests were made."
