Police rush to Crewe address following 'sudden death' of woman

Cheshire Police officers have discovered the body of a woman at an address in Crewe, following reports of a "sudden death."

Following the reports on Saturday (July 15), Cheshire Police officers rushed to a property on Kemble Close, off Millrace Drive, Wistaston.

Officers entered the address, finding a deceased 54-year-old woman inside.

The 54-year-old woman's sudden death is not being treated as suspicious (Google).

Police are not treating the woman's death as suspicious. A case file will the prepared for the coroner.

Officers quickly informed the woman's next of kin.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 5.10pm on Saturday 15 July, police were called to reports of a sudden death at an address on Kemble Close, Crewe.

"Police attended and a 54-year-old woman was found deceased at the address.

The 54-year-old woman's death is currently unexplained. A case file will be prepared for the coroner (Google).

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.

"The woman's next of kin have been informed."
