Police place extra patrols around Crewe park after man hides in bushes
Cheshire Police have put on extra patrols around Crewe's main park - following reports of of a man hiding in the bushes.
The incident at Queens Park happened at approximately 4:30pm on Thursday (November 3).
A man was spotted by a local resident acting strangely in the park - hiding in bushes.
He was described as white, approximately 25 to 30-years-old and dressed in all-black.
The man stepped out of the bushes but went back into them once he was seen by the park visitor.
Cheshire Police were called and quickly arrived on scene. They searched the area but did not find the man.
Officers said the suspicious man had not approached or spoken to anyone in Queens Park.

Today (November 7), Cheshire Constabulary confirmed the incident to Nub News.
Sergeant Richard Haque said: "I understand that this incident has caused concern in the local community.
"However, I would just like to reiterate that we have had no reports that this man has approached or spoken to anyone.
"To reassure the community, we will be deploying additional officers to patrol the Victoria Avenue area of Crewe.
"I would urge anyone with concerns to please report them to the officers and they will do all they can to assist."
