Police discover abandoned BMW in Nantwich after being stolen from Crewe house

Cheshire Police officers have found and recovered an abandoned BMW in Nantwich, after being stolen from a Crewe address the night before.
On the morning of Tuesday 18 July, police received reports of a blue BMW being stolen from an address on Blackthorne Close, Wistaston.
The car theft took place around 11:45pm the night before, with unknown offenders gaining entry into the address and stealing the keys.
At 11:50pm, the vehicle was seen travelling at high speeds towards Nantwich, with the driver failing to stop for officers.
Around 1:30pm on Tuesday, the stolen BMW was located and recovered by police in Nantwich, following a tracker alert.
Enquiries in relation to this car theft are ongoing, with the public urged to contact police if they have any information.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 7.30am on Tuesday 18 July, police received reports of a car having been stolen in Wistaston.
"The caller reported at approximately 11.45pm on Monday 17 July, unknown offenders had gained entry to an address and stolen car keys.
"The suspects then stole a blue BWM from outside the property in Blackthorne Close.
"Officers conducted enquiries and at around 1.30pm on Tuesday 18 July, the car was recovered in Nantwich following a tracker alert.
"Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1599138."
