Police called following reports of women 'screaming for help' at Crewe park

Cheshire Police attended a welfare incident in Crewe over the weekend, following reports of two women "screaming for help."
On Saturday 7 March, officers attended Pebble Brook Park, off Brookside Green in the town.
When arriving at the scene at 8.30pm, they located two intoxicated teenagers.
The girls, who sustained no injuries, were taken home to their families. No arrests were made in the incident.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 8.30pm on Saturday 7 March, police were called to concerns for the welfare of two women on Brookside Green, Crewe.
"The caller reported that two women were screaming for help.
"Police attended and located two intoxicated teenagers who were taken home to their families."
Despite reports on social media, Cheshire Police confirmed to Nub News no police helicopter was called to the scene.
