Police appeal after four men break into Crewe shop and steal 'quantity of cash'

Crewe CID are appealing for witnesses and video footage, following a late night burglary at a convenience store in the town.

At around 11:55pm on on Sunday 28 January, four men broke into Co-op, Parkers Road, stealing a quantity of cash.

Cheshire Police are currently investigating the incident, looking to hear from residents who were in the area at the time.

Officers are encouraging anyone with CCTV or video doorbell in the area to see if they caught anything which may help with the investigation.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Crewe CID are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a burglary at the Co-op on Parkers Road.

"The incident occurred at around 11.55pm on Sunday 28 January, when four men broke into the store and stole a quantity of cash. 

"Our enquiries in relation to this incident are in the early stages and we are doing all we can to identify the people responsible.

"As part of our investigation we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and believes that they may have seen anything suspicious.

"We are also asking residents in the area to check their CCTV or video doorbell footage to see if they have anything which may aid our investigation.

Cheshire Police is encouraging anyone with CCTV or video doorbell in the area to see if they caught anything which may help with the investigation (Cheshire Police).

"The same goes for any motorists with any dashcam footage."
