Plans have been submitted for new residential development in Crewe, located behind a pub.

This October, Mrs Shincy Cyriac, of Gateway International Recruitment Agency UK Ltd, submitted proposals on behalf of land to the rear of The Bridge Inn, 167 Broad Street.

The applicant wants to construct four new flats behind the venue, situated in-between the car parking area and Lime Street.

The applicant wants to construct a block of flats behind The Bridge Inn, situated in-between the car parking area and Lime Street (Cheshire East Planning).

It is planned this two-storey building would neighbour the pub, consisting of four two-bedroom flats, each with a lounge/dining area/kitchen and bathroom.

The development would take up land to the rear of the Bridge Inn, currently used as an outside area for the venue.

It would also take up a small section of the current car parking area.
