Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights star to come to Crewe

By Alex Greensmith   30th May 2023

A performer who found fame in a Peter Kay sitcom is to come to Crewe.

Clinton Baptiste, the stage name of comic actor Alex Lowe, will host a show in Crewe next year.

Baptiste had a bitpart as the psychic in the 2001 Channel 4 sitcom Phoenix Nights.

His short appearance as the hapless mind-reader was just a few minutes long, but stuck in the memory of comedy fans.

Now, the act has been expanded into a full touring set. And Clinton will be coming to Crewe Lyceum on June 7 2024.

Expect unreliable predictions, big laughs, and a larger-than-life Lancashirian stage presence.

Tickets cost £32.95, including booking fee.
