A person has been hospitalised following a crash on a residential street in Crewe South.

On Thursday 30 July, emergency services were alerted to an incident on Westminster Street.

At 3.59pm, Cheshire Police, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene.

On arrival, they discovered two cars had collided with one another, injuring one person.

The person's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving two cars in Crewe.

"All persons were out of their vehicles on firefighters' arrival, and all cars were made safe.

"One casualty was assessed before being handed into the care of paramedics. Police were also in attendance."
