Man taken to hospital with 'head injury' following incident in Crewe
Cheshire Police are investigating after a man was taken to hospital with a "head injury," following an incident in the West End of Crewe.
On Monday 5 August, officers received reports of an incident at Derby Docks.
At 11:53am, police discovered a 66-year-old man with an injury to his head.
The man was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital as a precautionary measure.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, with enquiries ongoing to establish how the incident occurred.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: At 11.53am on Monday 5 August, police were called to reports of an incident in the Derby Docks area of Crewe.
"Officers attended the scene and found a 66-year-old man was found with a head injury.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish how the man sustained the head injury.
"The man was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital as a precautionary measure, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire police on 101, or via the website, quoting: IML 1887867."
