Man arrested for immigration offences in Crewe

A man from Pakistan has been handed over to Immigration Enforcement (IE), after being arrested in Crewe for immigration offences.
On Thursday 15 May, Cheshire Police located a male in the Crewe area who was wanted for failing to leave the UK when required to do so.
Officers detained the man in police custody, before handing him over to Immigration Enforcement.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "On Thursday 15 May, a male was arrested in the Crewe area after committing immigration offences.

"The male, originally from Pakistan, was arrested by beat officers after failing to leave the UK when required to do so.
"He was detained in Cheshire Police custody, and handed over to Immigration Enforcement [IE])"
