By Ryan Parker 25th Feb 2026
Crewe's old Tilley's Fishing Tackle and Air Gun store site is set to go up for sale by auction on Thursday 26 February, including properties on Nantwich Road and Edleston Road.
Opened by Charlie Tilley in 1957, the family business traded in Crewe South for 60 years until 2017.
The unit was then taken on by Repair World Direct, which continues to trade successfully.
Marketed by BTG Eddisons for a guide price of £625,000, the overall site includes 109A, 109B, 111-113, 11A and 113A Nantwich Road, as well as 2, 4, 6, 6A Edleston Road and rear parking.

The mixed-used site is made up of seven recently refurbished one-bedroom apartments, along with two occupied retail units and another vacant unit.
BTG Eddisons say: "For sale by action on 26 February, 2026.
"A mixed-use investment opportunity located in a prominent position, fronting both Nantwich Road and Edleston Road, Crewe.
"The accommodation consists of seven recently refurbished one-bedroom apartments and two retail units, held under separate leases along with parking areas.
"Current income is £79,760 per annum with scope to increase."
The sale of this property will take place at 9am on February 26, by live streamed auction. You can register to bid HERE.
