A brand-new TV show starring a 36-year-old Crewe resident has become a UK hit - first airing on the day Queen Elizabeth II passed away.
Dirty House Rescue: Queens of Clean, first aired last Thursday (September 8) at 10:15pm on E4.
The series opener starred Crewe resident and online body transformation coach, Mr Adam Murphy - alongside three other hosts.
"I was approached by the production team late last year, asking if I wanted to audition for a new TV show, said show host, Mr Murphy.
Dirty House Rescue: Queens of Clean, is a new tv show aiming to help people tidy and transform their homes. It airs every Thursday evening.
On Channel Four's website, the eight-episode show is described as: "Dynamite organisers and professional cleaners help us ditch the dirt and clear the clutter, as they share their tips, tricks and hacks for a gleamingly good life."
Mr Murphy had 'unknowingly' conducted an interview recording for this new programme via zoom and was offered the role.
The Crewe body transformation coach told Nub News: "I was offered a presenters role and filming started in January. I had never done any TV work before.
"They found me from Facebook live posts and social media posts of my body transformation business."
The 36-year-old runs his own business - The Wonder Woman programme.
This business aims to help women change their mind, body and lifestyle choices, Mr White now has clients in eight countries.
Mr Murphy said: "I have been living in Cheshire for past the 15 years. I think the new show is great, it's a brilliant concept.
"My career and job is all about helping people. In this new TV show, we were real people helping others.
"Each home we worked on, there was a feeling we had a real impact on it.
"Until last week, we had not seen any of the show. It has received really positive feedback."
Despite Dirty House Rescue Queens of Clean airing just hours after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II - the show earned E4's biggest viewing figures for the night.
Mr White said: "There are four presenters on this show. I am the mindset guy.
"The concept of the show is going into people's houses who have no control of it.
"We go in there and within three days completely transform it. It's about helping these people to get their lives back in track.
"The show is aimed at younger people and some involve student accommodation. It was filmed all over country. Filming was quite intense and involved long days."
The Crewe resident was complimentary of production team, Avalon, who were responsible for the entire filming process.
He added: "Avalon really looked after us. We were all first-time tv presenters and both sides were really happy with what came out at the end of filming.
"Season two could possibly happen. Ratings are really good. It was the most watched E4 show on the night of Her Majesty's death."
