An international music star from Crewe is set to perform the National Anthem live at his hometown's football stadium - in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
Pianist and vocalist, Tom Seals, born and raised in Crewe, is a lifelong Crewe Alexandra supporter - performing in over 100 countries across his career to date.
Seals is back in his hometown this Saturday (September 17), leading the National Anthem before kick-off as Crewe Alexandra take on Crawley Town in EFL League Two.
The international performer will play a grand piano live as fans will fall silent for one-minute - paying their respects to Her late Majesty who died on Thursday (September 8).
Seals told Crewe Alexandra's website: "To be invited to perform the national anthem at my hometown club is a real honour.
"I think it will be the first time most of us will have sung 'God Save The King' so it'll be a moment in history – I'm sure the fans will join me by singing it loud and proud."
Seals is a Crewe Alexandra season-ticket holder. The 29-year-old studied at Crewe's Ruskin Community High School and South Cheshire College (Cheshire College - South & West).
The performer added: "In all my years of coming to the Alex, I can safely say I've never seen a grand piano at the side of the pitch, so I'm looking forward to it."
Crewe Alexandra are hoping to win at home for the first time since 16 August - a 1-0 victory againats Sutton United.
The club are pushing for as many fans as possible to make the game, watch Seals' performance and pay their respects to the Queen.
Crewe Alexandra said in a statement: "We'd love to see as many people as possible come along and sing with their fellow supporters as we mark a special occasion."
Tom Seals will be performing between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday. The Railwaymen kick-off at 3pm.
