A new Asian and Continental shop is set to open at the site of former Bargain Booze store in Crewe, confirming to Nub News it will launch in July.

Asian and Continental Grocery Shop will open its doors at 33 Hungerford Road on Saturday 20 July.

The new shop opens around 12 months after Bargain Booze closed one of three branches in the town, which included Gresty Road and Kings Drive.

Asian and Continental Grocery Shop will serve items from Africa, China, the Caribbean, East Timor, India, the Philippines and South India (Ryan Parker).

Bargain Booze said its Hungerford Road closure was due to 'continuing underperformance.'

Asian and Continental Grocery Shop aims to make a success of the 517 square foot unit which was recently listed for rent at £8,000 per annum.

The property has been under offer since spring, with its interior recently cleared out.

It will serve items from Africa, China, the Caribbean, East Timor, India, the Philippines and South India.

Asian and Continental Grocery Shop will open from 9am to 9pm, seven days per week.

Asian and Continental Grocery Shop aims to make a success of the 517 square foot unit, prevously occupied by Bargain Booze (Ryan Parker).

Crewe Nub News has contacted the owner for comment on more details.
