A new online wine merchant has applied to supply alcohol 24 hours a day, at its facility set to launch close to Crewe Railway Station.

On Friday 26 January, Cheshire Gentlemen Ltd submitted a premises license application for Unit 53, The Weston Centre, off Weston Road.

The Cheshire Gentlemen is set to sell a selection of wines, spirits, and beers, with the potential of a tasting room experience.

A website statement reads: "Our passion for exceptional beverages is rivalled only by our commitment to first-class service.

"While we are gearing up for our grand opening, our team is meticulously preparing a collection that promises to delight every palate."

The Cheshire Gentleman says it is close to launching, offering local delivery, gift trays and hampers, corporate gift bags and event and wedding services.

Its premises license application reads: "Notice is hereby given that we, Cheshire Gentlemen Ltd have applied on 26th January 2024 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as Cheshire Gentlemen, Unit 53 The Weston Centre, Weston Road,.

"This is for a premises licence to provide the supply of alcohol, Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day."

Representations to Cheshire Gentleman's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Friday 23 February.

The Weston Centre has a number of renovated units to rent at its facility off Weston Road (Weston Centre Business Hub).
