A new "high-quality" burger restaurant chain is set to launch in Crewe town centre, as part of a new collaboration with a popular dessert shop.

Betsy's Burgers X Little Dessert Shop, Market Street, soft launched on Tuesday 12 March, and will officially open on Saturday 16 March.

Taking inspiration from Brooklyn's multi-cultural vibe, Crewe is the American-style eatery's fourth location, following on from Hanley, Lichfield and Wednesfield.

Betsy's Burgers X Little Dessert Shop will officially open on Saturday 16 March, celebrating with 50 per cent off and an in-store DJ (Ryan Parker).

Betsy's serves a large variety of smash burgers and chicken burgers, as well as hot dogs, skin-on-fries, dirty fries, chicken tender strips and fruity American soft drinks.

All items from Little Dessert Shop, prior to its temporary closure in January to allow this new Crewe collaboration, are served at the store.

Store manager, Shyrah, told Nub News: "We are delighted Betsy's has launched in Crewe town centre, which I believe serves the best burgers in town.

"As part of the X model with Little Dessert Shop, we still have all the old desserts people came in for, but with all the new Betsy's items as well.

"We basically serve items from A to Z, including burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs, churros, milkshakes, hot drinks and vegan options.

"Here, we offer very low prices for high-quality food. We also have a variety of American-style fizzy fruit drinks.

"We believe our food and desserts won't disappoint anyone. I am excited for new customers to come and give us a try."

Betsy's Burgers X Little Dessert Shop has undergone a total makeover inside, following an estimated £300,000 investment.

The walls of the Market Street unit have been redecorated in Brooklyn-style wall art, with new booths installed seating up to 20 customers.

Betsy's Burgers X Little Dessert Shop is open from 11am until midnight, Monday to Sunday (Ryan Parker).

CEO of Betsy's and Little Dessert Shop, Mohammed Zahid, said: "For our Saturday launch we will be running 50 per cent off, with a DJ playing tunes throughout the day.

"All of our burgers are handmade and we have top kitchen equipment. All food is fresh, with nothing frozen.

"Our Betsy's menu is displayed on the big screen inside our store, with our well-known Little Dessert Shop menu in booklets."

"We make everything to order and aim to serve all food to customers within three to five minutes.

"All of our fries are extra crispy and we use premium flaky salt to give extra taste.
