A new barber shop business has officially opened in Crewe, promising its customers "high-quality" cuts at a "very reasonable price."

Mo's Barbershop, Nantwich Road, launched on Saturday 2 December, located inside the former JR Hair & Beauty.

Operated by barbers Mo and Shakwan from Kurdistan, the pair decided they should open a new business in the town.

Shakwan told Nub News: "We are barbers by trade and have lived in Crewe for the past nine months since moving from Kurdistan.

"We wanted the shop to look stylish inside and I believe it does now the work is complete.

"Mo's Barbershop is all about offering a high-quality service to our customers.

"People joke does Mo Salah [Liverpool FC player] come here? He doesn't, but our service would be good enough for him.

"We have the best shaving equipment, hair powders, aftershaves, face cleaning products, waxing equipment, the lot."

Mo's Barbershop is open 9am until 6pm (Monday to Wednesday and Saturday), 9am to 7pm (Thursday and Friday) and 10am until 4pm (Sunday) (Ryan Parker).

Mo's Barbershop operates the ground floor of 167 Nantwich Road, with a new salon set to open on the first floor.

External works are currently taking place for new signage to go up on the salon.

Shakwan added: "At our shop, we offer very reasonable prices, with guaranteed great service.

"Most barber shops charge customers to have their ears and nose waxed, but with haircuts we offer them for free.
