A new free Comic Fair 2024 event is being hosted in Crewe town centre this weekend, promising a fun and free day out for all the family.

Running from 11am until 4pm, Comic Fair 2024 will take place within Crewe Central, LY2 Square, behind Crewe Market Hall.

Owner of Gumshoe Comics & Collectibles, Peter Bruder, told Nub News: "This is a free family out, with something for everyone to enjoy.

"We have organised all stalls and cosplayers for the five-hour event on Saturday 20 July.

"The comic fair will include stalls, 3D minis, a Dungeons and Dragons tabletop roll play game, crocheting and arts and crafts.

"There will also be an Ecto-1 Ghostbusters car, Pokemon, stalls selling trading cards, face painting, funko pops, backdrops for photo opportunities with cosplayers and competitions.

Owner of Gumshoe Comics & Collectibles, Peter Bruder, has organsied Crewe Comic Fair 2024 in conjunction with Crewe Market Hall (Ryan Parker).

"Crewe business, Void Games, will be coming down for Star Wars unlimited games, It is great to have local businesses joining in.

"There will be a video game corner for visitors to enjoy in Crewe Market Hall, with four or five TVs set up with consoles.

"We are really proud of our community at Gumshoe and are happy to get local people involved.

"We hope Comic Fair 2024 will become an annual event in Crewe and grow year-on-year, potentially one day becoming a comic con.

Comic Fair 2024 is Crewe Market Hall's first ever event of its kind.
