A Crewe pub has teamed up with one of the town's popular food names to launch a new Jamaican-inspired dining experience.

The Imperial, Edleston Road, has joined forces with nearby Wadey's Kitchen to bring a selection of Caribbean dishes directly to pub customers.

The new partnership means visitors no longer have to leave the pub when hunger strikes, with food ordered from the bar and delivered straight to tables.

The menu features Wadey's signature dishes including jerk chicken, curry goat, rice and peas, homemade slaw and fried dumplings.

Customers can choose from options including the £16 Wadey's Mix Box, combining jerk chicken and curry goat, or individual dinner boxes such as the £13 jerk chicken dinner and £13 curry goat dinner.

There is also a jerk burger box, spicy jerk fries and a selection of drinks including Wadey's Tropical Punch and Tropical Rum Punch.

The Imperial said the partnership is now a permanent feature, with customers able to grab a menu from the bar before relaxing in the beer garden while their food is prepared, with bar staff doing the rest.

Both businesses are based on Edleston Road, creating a new local link between two Crewe venues.

The Imperial said: "You asked, we listened. You no longer have to leave The Imperial when you get hungry.

"Come hungry, leave happy."

Wadeys Kitchen is open 4pm to 9pm, Thursday to Sunday.
