New Crewe leisure development confirms 2023 opening with laser tag arena and escape rooms

A new Crewe leisure development has confirmed its 2023 target opening date - including escape rooms and laser tag arena.
Tenpin Ltd is opening a bowling centre inside the former MFA Bowl, Phoenix Leisure Park, Dunwoody Way - with work starting back in mid-September.
Back in July, Cheshire East Council granted Tenpin its premises license for the MFA Bowl unit which closed in 2018.
This month (December), Tenpin has released a statement on its website - targeting a February 2023 Crewe opening date.
Tenpin confirmed the bowling centre will also include escape rooms, a laser tag arena, arcade machines and pool tables.
The statement reads: "Get ready for the ultimate entertainment experience, opening in Crewe in February 2023.
"We'll have bowling lanes for you to get your strike on and a laser tag arena for you to have a blast with your mates.
"There will be soft play for the little ones to enjoy, escape rooms to get your brain working, pool tables and so much more.
"Check back for the latest updates on when we will be opening our newest centre."
The new Crewe bowling centre will also have an on-site restaurant and bar.
Tenpin will open its Crewe centre to the public from 10am to 1am the following morning - Monday to Thursday.
Across the weekend, the bowling centre will to open from 10am to 2am the following morning.
Substantial interior work is being carried out in new Tenpin facility with the unit having a full strip out.
