New convenience shop opens in former Crewe electricals store
A new Crewe convenience shop has opened inside a former electricals store, run by a male management trio from Iraq.
King Mini Market, Edleston Road, soft launched in November, with the store set to be fully filled with stock by Christmas.
Previously occupied by Telecentre Services, the new store is run by three Crewe residents who recently moved to the town from Iraq.
King Mini Market sells a variety of soft drinks, groceries, household items, snacks, vapes and smoking paraphernalia.
A store worker told Nub News: "We opened in November after a few months of work. We are not quite fully finished yet.
"We sell a variety of drinks, snacks, vapes and groceries. Our stock will be fully filled before Christmas
"Our prices are very competitive. You won't find many stores as cheap as us.
"When you are next on Edleston Road, come and give King Mini Market a try."
King Mini Market's unit was also once occupied by BJK Motorcycles.
The new Edleston Road shop is open from 9am seven days per week.
