Nantwich woman, 62, charged with drink driving after Crewe crash

A Nantwich woman has been charged with drink driving, following a crash near Crewe on Thursday 17 September.
At 5.37pm, emergency services were alerted to a single-vehicle incident on Main Road, Weston.
Main Road was closed while a small fuel spillage was cleaned up and the vehicle was made safe for recovery.
The driver of the car, Melissa Jewell, of Millstone Lane, Nantwich, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.
She has since been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Wednesday 14 October.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 5.37pm om Thursday 17 September, police were called to a single vehicle collision on Main Road, Weston.
"Police attended and the driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
"Melissa Jewell has since been charged with the offence.
"The 62-year-old, of Millstone Lane, Nantwich, has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Wednesday 14 October."
