By Gwyn Griffiths 27th Aug 2021

A MAN is fighting for his life in hospital after the car he was driving was involved in a collision in Crewe this morning.

The motorist was making his way along Groby Road in a white Hyundai when it was in collision with a black Ford Fiesta just before 7.30am.

The Hyundai driver, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital with what Cheshire Police describe as "serious and life-threatening injuries".

Road closures were put in place around Groby Road and drivers were asked to avoid the scene.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1048249 or report it here.
