Motorist almost three times over drink drive limit to appear at Crewe court

A Winsford man is set to appear in Crewe court after blowing almost three times over the drink drive limit in the town.

Marcin Kaczyński, 35, from Winsford, has been charged with driving whilst proceeding the prescribed limit.

He is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Tuesday 3 October, following an incident on Middlewich Road in the town on Friday 8 September.

The incident on Middlewich Road happened on Friday 8 September (Ryan Parker).

At around 7:30pm, Cheshire Police officers received reports of an Audi driving "all over the road."

Response officers quickly arrived at the scene, locating and stopping the vehicle.

Mr Kaczyński blew 104 on a roadside breath test, almost three times the legal limit of 35.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "On Friday 8 September at 7:30pm, a member of the public reported an Audi driving all over the road.

"Response officers located and stopped the vehicle, and the driver blew 104 on a roadside breath test. The legal limit is 35.

"Marcin Kaczynski, 35 from Winsford had been charged with driving whilst exceeding the prescribed limit.

"He will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 3 October."
