Cheshire Police is appealing for help in tracing a missing elderly woman from Crewe, last seen on the morning of February 9.

Patricia Chester was last seen at around 9am, with the 74-year-old described as white and around 6'1" tall.

She has short brown hair with red and blonde highlights and wears glasses.

At the time she was reported missing, it is believed Patricia was wearing a long black coat.

Inspector Claire Miles said: "We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry to locate Patricia and, as part of those enquiries, we are now appealing to anyone who believes they may have seen her to get in touch.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to directly appeal to Patricia and ask her to, please, get in touch with us as your family are very worries about you."

Anyone with any information in relation to the whereabouts of Patricia is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website or on 101, quoting IML-226 7834.

good grief, the police press office has gone from getting locations wrong to not giving them at all. Given that last week they issued a release that said Henhull was in Crewe this woman could be anywhere in their Crewe management area - which reaches the Shropshire and Staffordshire borders. Not good enough!
