Man with weapon charged following fight at Crewe tip

A Crewe man has been charged with the possession of a weapon, following an altercation at the town's tip over the weekend.
On Saturday 14 March, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident involving weapons at Crewe Household Waste and Recycling Centre, Pyms Lane.
At around 2.30pm, officers arrived at the scene, swiftly arresting a 22-year-old man and a 33-year-old man.
Alex Blount, 22, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with the offence.
He has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 28 April.

The 33-year-old male was released without charge.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 2.30pm on Saturday 14 March police were called to reports of an altercation at a household waste site on Pyms Lane.
"The caller reported that some the suspects were possibly armed with weapons.
"Officers attended and two men, aged 22 and 33, were arrested in relation to the incident.
"Alex Blount, 22, of no fixed abode in Crewe, has since been charged with possession of a weapon. He has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on 28 April.
"The 33-year-old man has since been released without charge."
