Man taken to hospital following two-vehicle collision near Crewe

A man was taken to hospital to be "checked over" following a two-vehicle collision near Crewe - with police blocking off the road for recovery to take place.

Both drivers got out of their vehicles safely. One man was taken to Leighton Hospital to be checked over.

Warmingham Road was blocked until 6:45pm - allowing the vehicles to be recovered.

On Friday 30 June, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At 5.19pm on Thursday 29 June, police were called to Warmingham Road, Warmingham, following reports of a two vehicle collision.

"Both drivers were out of their vehicles. The road was blocked until 6.45pm when the vehicles were recovered.

Warmingham Road was blocked until 6:45pm - allowing the vehicles to be recovered (Google).

"One man went to hospital to be checked over."
