Man arrested and taken to hospital following incident in Crewe
A man was arrested and taken to hospital following an incident at a pub in Crewe - close to the town's railway station.
The incident at The Corner Bar, Nantwich Road - happened at approximately 2:32pm on Friday (January 20).
Cheshire Police officers and North West Ambulance service paramedics quickly arrived at the scene.
The man involved was arrested and taken to hospital for further checks.
Enquires in relation to this incident are now underway.
Later on Friday, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At around 2.32pm on Friday (January 20), police were called to concerns for the safety of a man on Nantwich Road, Crewe.
"Officers are currently at the scene and the man has been taken to hospital for further checks.
"Enquiries in relation to this incident are underway. "
Cheshire Police told Nub News this information was all they could provide at this current time.
