Man remains in 'serious' condition following collision on M6 near Crewe

A man in his 40s remains in a "serious but stable condition" in hospital, following a three-vehicle collision on the M6 near Crewe.

On Monday 12 February, there was a collision on the southbound carriageway between junction 15 and 16, involving a silver Ford Transit van, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Ford Puma.

At around 11.40am, emergency services arrived at the scene, with the driver and passengers of the Vauxhall Corsa taken to hospital by paramedics.

The driver of the Corsa, a man in his 40s, remains in a serious condition in hospital (West Midlands Ambulance Service).

A woman and a child, from the Corsa, also suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

Staffordshire Police say: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with dashcam footage of the area at the time.
