Man on burglary, robbery and stolen goods charges in connection with incidents in Crewe and 3 other Cheshire towns

A MAN faces charges of burglary, robbery and handling stolen goods relating to alleged crimes in four Cheshire towns, including Crewe.

Keegan Dignam, 30, of Wharfe Lane, Ellesmere Port, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court today (Thursday) after his arrest by detectives in Ellesmere Port.

Dignam is charged with two counts of attempted burglary, four counts of burglary, an attempted robbery and handling stolen goods, which are all connected to a number of incidents in Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham and Runcorn between August 16 and September 1 this year.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Crown Court on September 30.
