A man was sadly found dead in a car on a Crewe health centre car park, with the incident not believed to be suspicious.

On Monday 20 January, Cheshire Police were alerted to concerns for the welfare of a man in a car parked on Eagle Bridge Health & Wellbeing Centre Car Park, off Dunwoody Way.

At 8.30pm, emergency services attended the scene, discovering the body of a 73-year-old man in a vehicle.

The man is believed to have died of natural causes following a GP appointment, with a case file now being prepared for the coroner.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 8.30pm on Monday 20 January, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man in a car parked off Dunwoody Way.

"Officers attended the scene and sadly a 73-year-old man was found deceased in the vehicle.

"The death is not believed to be suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."
