Man 'found dead' by police following concerns for welfare on West End street

On Monday 16 October, police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man on West Street.

At around 2pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a body.

The man's death is not being treated as suspicious. A case file is now being prepared for the coroner.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 2pm on Monday 16 October police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man on West Street.

"Officers attended and sadly the man was found dead at the scene. 

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."
