Man charged with four shoplifting offences in Crewe area

Cheshire Police officers have charged a man in connection with four shoplifting offences, which took place across the Crewe area.

Christopher Neil Sedgley was arrested on Saturday 20 April.

The 37-year-old, of no fixed abode, was subsequently charged with four counts of thefts from a shop.

Christopher Neil Sedgley was remanded in police custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 22 April (Cheshire Police).

The charges relate to incidents that occurred in April 2024 at a convenience store on Rope Lane, Shavington and a convenience store on Parkers Road.

They also relate to an incident at a convenience store on Readesdale Avenue.

Sedgley was remanded in police custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 22 April.
