Man, 38, charged with drink driving following collision near Crewe town centre
A local man has been charged with drink driving and will appear in court this November, following a serious collision on the edge of Crewe town centre.
On Sunday 27 October, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident at the junction of Edleston Road/Oak Street/ Wistaston Road.
At 8.23am, emergency services arrived at the scene, discovering three vehicles involved.
All three drivers were taken to hospital to be assessed, with a 38-year-old man from Crewe arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He has since been charged with the offence and will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 14 November.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: At 8.23am on 27 October, police were called to a three vehicle collision at the junction of Edleston Road/Oak Street/ Wistaston Road.
"A 38-year-old Crewe man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and later charged.
"He will appear at Crewe Magistrates on 14 November.
"The drivers of the three vehicles were assessed at hospital."
