Man arrested on suspicion of common assault and 'threats to kill' in Crewe

Cheshire Police were deployed to the West End of Crewe on Thursday night (March 12), with a man arrested on suspicion of common assault and "threats to kill."
At 10.52pm, officers were alerted to a disturbance on McNeil Avenue, between Frank Webb Avenue and Darlington Avenue.
Local residents witnessed a major police response, with multiple cars parked on the Crewe street.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of the listed offences. He currently remains in police custody.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 10.52pm on Thursday 12 March, police were called to reports of an altercation in McNeill Avenue, Crewe.
"A man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of section 39 assault and threats to kill.
"He remains in police custody at this time."
