Bypass closed after motorcyclist suffers 'serious injuries' in Crewe crash

A major bypass between Crewe and Sandbach remains closed following a serious crash, involving a car and a motorcycle.
On Friday 13 March, emergency services were alerted to an incident on the A534 Haslington Bypass, near to Clay Lane.
At 11.51am, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, discovering a motorcyclist had been hit a car.
A male motorcyclist was subsequently rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The A534 Haslington Bypass remains cosed between Clay Lane and Crewe Green Roundabout.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 11.51am on Friday 13 March, police were called to reports of a collision on A534 Wheelock Bypass, near to Clay Lane.
"The collision involved a car and a motorcycle.
"The motorcyclist is believed to have suffered serious injuries.
"The road is closed between Clay Lane and Crewe Green Roundabout."
