A man has been arrested on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour, after "acting aggressively" at Crewe Railway Station.

On Thursday 4 January, British Transport Police were alerted to an incident outside the Nantwich Road entrance of the station.

At around 2:40pm, officers discovered a member of the public acting aggressively.

The man was subsequently arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour.

British Transport Police arrested the man on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour (British Transport Police).

A British Transport Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Officers were at Crewe Railway Station around 2.40pm on Thursday 4 January, when they were alerted to a member of the public acting aggressively.

"A man was arrested under suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour."
