Man arrested following 'disturbance' incident at Crewe property

A man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and the assault of an emergency worker, following a "disturbance" at a property in Crewe.

On Tuesday 19 March, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident at an address on Broad Street.

At around 12am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering an agitated male.

Cheshire Polcie officers detained and arrested the man for damaging items inside the Broad Street property (Cheshire Police).

The 30-year-old later attacked an emergency worker and remains in police custody at this time.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around midnight on Tuesday 19 March, we received a report about a disturbance at a property in the area of Broad Street.

"Crewe Response Team attended the address, and an agitated male at the property was arrested.

The 30-year-old man later attacked an emergency worker and remains in police custody at this time (Cheshire Police).

"The male, 30, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to items inside the property.

"He was later further arrested for the assault of an emergency worker. He remains in custody at this time."
