Man arrested after three police officers 'assaulted' in early morning incident

A man has been arrested for assaulting three police officers in an early morning "domestic incident" - at an address in the West End of Crewe.

The incident on Badger Avenue happened at 3:45am on Thursday 6 July.

Cheshire Police officers quickly arrived at the West End address following reports of a domestic assault.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker (Cheshire Police).

While at the scene, three officers were assaulted by a 27-year-old man.

The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker.

On Friday 7 July, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At 3.45am on Thursday 6 July, police were called to a domestic incident at an address on Badger Avenue in Crewe.
