Local man, 50, charged after exposing himself at Crewe play area

A Middlewich man has been charged with indecent exposure, following an incident at a children's play area in Crewe.
On Friday 27 February, Cheshire Police received reports of exposure at a play area off Davenport Avenue.
At 2.45pm, officers arrived at the scene, arresting a 50-year-old male.
Simon Burnley of Wheelock Street, Middlewich, has since been charged. He appears at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 March.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "A man has been charged following reports of exposure in Crewe.
"Simon Burnley was arrested on Friday 27 February.
"The 50-year-old, of Wheelock Street, Middlewich, has since been charged with exposure.
"He will appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 March.
"The charge relates to reports of man exposing himself in Davenport Avenue, Crewe, at around 2.45pm on Friday 27 February."
