Man, 43, charged with intentional strangulation following incident in Crewe

Police investigating a serious incident in Crewe have charged a man from Cheshire.

Nicholas Ian Carson, of Booth Lane, Middlewich, was arrested at around 11.47pm on Friday 25 July.

Carson, 43, has since been charged with intentional strangulation and two counts assaulting a person thereby causing actual bodily harm.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on the afternoon of Monday 28 July.
