Man, 25, in hospital with 'serious injuries' after being hit by car in Crewe

A man is being treated in hospital with "serious injuries" after being hit by a car in Crewe on Friday night (21 March), with Cheshire Police appealing for information.
At 7.08pm, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service were called to Badger Avenue, close to its junction with Vernon Way.
A 25-year-old male pedestrian was knocked down by a car and rushed to Royal Stoke University Hospital after an air ambulance landed on The Brooklands.

The man sustained serious injuries in the incident, with police confirming he appears to making a recovery.
Officers taped off Badger Avenue from traffic lights outside Oxley's Funeral Services.
A section of Vernon Way was also closed between West Street and Badger Avenue. They both reopened at 12.30am.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7.08pm on Friday 21 March, police were called to a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Badger Avenue in Crewe.

"The pedestrian, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He appears to be making a recovery.
"Anyone with information can contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 2052501."
