Male motorcyclist taken to hospital with injuries in serious Crewe collision

A male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after colliding with car in Crewe - close to Mornflake Oats.

A male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after their Suzuki motorbike collided with white BMW 220D.

The male motorcyclist was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital with injuries to their head and leg (Ryan Parker).

Several Cheshire Police vehicles quickly arrived at the scene - along with North West Ambulance Service paramedics.

Police officers closed off the section of Gresty Road while dealing with the collision.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of white BMW 2220D sustained no serious injuries.

A male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after their Suzuki motorbike collided with white BMW 220D on Gresty Road - close to Davenport Avenue (Crewe Police).

On Wednesday (March 8), Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At 8.20pm on Monday 6 March, police were called to reports of a collision on Gresty Road - near to the junction of Davenport Avenue. 

"Officers attended and found the incident involved a white BMW 220D and a Suzuki motorbike. 

The rider of the bike sustained an injuries to his head and leg and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Police officers closed off the section of Gresty Road while dealing with the collision (Ryan Parker).

"His injures are not believed to be life-threatening.

"The driver of the car did not sustain any serious injuries."
