Male motorcyclist, 22, dies following South Cheshire crash

A male motorcyclist has died following fatal crash with a car in Willaston, with Cheshire Police appealing for witnesses.

At 6.37pm on Wednesday 3 September, emergency services were called to a collision involving a motorbike and a car on Crewe Road, close to Coppice Close.

The rider of the motorbike, a 22-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but sadly died en route.

His family are being supported by specialist officers.

Cheshire Police closed off a section of Crewe Road in both directions, allowing a North West Air Ambulance to land.

Sergeant, Amy Hollis, said: "I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam of the incident to contact us to help us with our investigation into the circumstances."
